Timeline Generator for a Person's Resume

A Timeline Resume is a multimedia-type resume, which explains the history of a person in multiple ways depending on how the user wants to portray him or herself. Now there are is no reason to sacrifice including a specific experience, skill, activity, or certification. The Timeline Resume allows user to include all of their history into the Timeline and then allow the viewer to filter according to their needs. Users can select a default view of the information they think the viewer will want to see and highlight specific items. At the same time, allow the viewer to expand into detail of other items if the viewer wants to without confusing the viewer with too much information.

Just like a picture can mean a 1,000 words, a Timeline Resume can represent a 1,000 words for a person's experience. Using the Timeline Generator, users can create a graphically pleasing resume in timeline format.

By entering in periods (multi-date and single-date periods), and uploading logos to represent the period on the timeline, users can graphically show work experience, education, honors, certifications, skills, activities, and other important moments, which have occurred in their lives.

In addition to generating a timeline, the system will generate the standard text version resumes through the periods users enter for their timeline. As well, users can create an introduction or cover letter to proceed their resume.

Users can send their Timeline Resume via email. This allows users to post the files on their websites, burn them to a CD-ROM, and send via email to others. They can also modify these files after they have sent the files to themselves if the system didn't format the pages exactly they way they wanted them to, since the output is in standard HTML or XML format.
